Godot - 3D software

Godot 3.2 was used as the game engine for Tube Slayers from Empanada. Godot is an amazing Game Engine that is more developer-oriented than some other game engines. Developers like it's overall "feel". It may be lacking in some features at this point, but is very well-coded application and well-managed, very active project. Godot was chosen because it has a nice scripting language, gdscript, and also because it has RUST bindings (which will be the eventual language for Tube Slayers from Empanada) , a very permissive MIT license, and it's relatively easy to pick up on. So far, so good - though I still have a LOT to learn ...

There are some great videos on youtube on how to use this excellent open source application. LMMS was chosen as the software for creation of the background beats in Tube Slayers from Empanada.
